The World Championships in Aachen were the highlight of the season and marked the first World Championship appearance for Jason and Picobello van’t Roosakker. Unfortunately, they had one fence down on each day of competition and therefore missed out on the individual final. Two of the faults at the first fence were particularly unlucky. Nevertheless, Jason is very pleased with Picobello’s performance: He handled all the difficult and technically demanding challenges throughout the courses with confidence.

The Swiss team finished 6th and secured one of the coveted qualification places for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles – the most important goal of these championships.

It was even more special to celebrate an individual title for Switzerland: The entire team supported Steve Guerdat and Dynamix de Belhème every step of the way and stood firmly behind them. Congratulations to an extraordinary champion, horseman and athlete!

Competing at these World Championships was an indescribable experience. We are proud and grateful and hope to build on everything we have learned, with the ambition of representing Switzerland at future championships.
