Goodbye Ailonka

05.02.26 Yesterday we said goodbye to our beloved Ailonka You were a mare with a strong character, a true fighter’s heart, and the warmest soul. Ten years ago, you were the reason we packed our bags and moved to Schlierbach. From that moment on, you were by our side, accompanying and shaping us through every chapter, both in and out of the ring. Together we celebrated unforgettable moments, victories and placings up to 3* Grand Prix level. So gentle, kind, and loving in everyday life – yet once you entered the ring, you became a true warrior, brave, focused, and full of fire. You loved your cuddles more than anything. Whenever someone tried to walk away, you would gently pull them back with your nose, asking for just one more stroke. Two years ago, you gifted us a healthy filly and protected her like a lioness. From the very first days, we knew you had passed on your fire and your temperament – and we truly believe that a part of you lives on in her. Yesterday, we walked with you on your final journey. Run free, dear Ailonka. Thank you for everything.

First placements at 5*-shows CHI Geneva and CHI Basel

12.01.25 At the end of the year, Jason had the opportunity to compete with Picobello in Geneva. As a highlight of the season, they participated in their first 5* event, where they came home with two placements. In January, they immediately continued on to the CHI Classics in Basel. There too, they secured two placements. Overjoyed with the progress, results, and the growing partnership with Pico, the stallion can now enjoy a several-week winter break. First Nations Cup with the Swiss Team

30.10.2024 First participation for Jason and Picobello in a Nations Cup for Switzerland. In Vejer de la Frontera (Spain), the team finished in 7th place.

Picobello and Karly Fight successful in Avenches

15.09.24 At this year's Swiss Championships for Swiss and foreign horses, Picobello secured second place in the Superpromotion over 145. The mare Karly Fight, who was in training with us over the summer, became Swiss Champion of the 4-year-old horses under Jeanne Weh, thanks to her three clear rounds.

Elite Swiss Championships in Lyss

18.08.24 Although it didn't result in a placement in the final of the Elite Swiss Championships, we are very satisfied with the two great rounds from Picobello. After the first qualification round over 150, which Jason and Picobello completed without any faults, they were in 8th place after the first round. Unfortunately, it was the last two jumps in the 160 course on Sunday where the pole came down, which meant they did not qualify for the second round. This was Jason's first championship under the Swiss flag, as well as Picobello's first rounds at this level. So, for us, the SM debut was definitely a success. A big thank you goes to the team of Niklaus and Karin Schurtenberger for organizing this beautiful event. They spared no effort in creating the best possible conditions for riders, horses, and spectators. We are all looking forward to the next Swiss Championships!

Picobello 2nd in the 2* GP and 10th in the 3* Grand Prix of CSI Samorin (SVK)

28.07.24 We've had two great weeks at the beautiful show CSI Samorin in Slovakia. Picobello jumped double clear in both Grand Prix and ended up 2nd in the 2* and 10th in his very first 3* GP. Also Warrior and Sabiana jumped great and got some nice placings over 130-140 classes.

Warrior wins the 135 class in Turbenthal

18.07.24 Sabiana, Picobello and Warrior jumped 4 clear rounds over 130/135 in Turbenthal with a 5th place for Sabiana and a 1st place for Warrior.

CS Uster - First 145 Victory and 150 GP placing with Picobello

05.04.24 What a show! On Sunday at the beautiful national show in Uster, Jason and Picobello win their first 145 class together. Only a few days later, they competed the first time in a national Grand Prix over 150 and got, despite a small mistake, a placing and collect the first qualification points for the Swiss Championship 2024.

Only clear rounds for Sabiana and Casabella

25.04.24 Sabiana got a 3rd and a 6th place over 130/135 at CS Roggwil and also our new team member Casabella jumped two nice clear rounds.

First 140-placings for Lislan Diarado

14.04.24 The 8yo gelding Lislan got his first placings over 140 at CSI3* Arezzo. We're happy to celebrate together with the owner family Segantini a 6th and a 2nd place.

Picobello 4th in the 2* GP Gorla Minore

10.03.24 Jason and Picobello achieved the 4th place in Gorla Minore in their first 2* Grand Prix together.

Picobello van't Roosakker joins our team

22.01.24 First outing with our new team member Picobello van't Roosakker at the „Hengste in Bern“-Event last weekend.   We would like to say Thank You to Marc Buhofer and the rest of the Silver Moon Team for securing us this unbelievably talented stallion. A big thank you also goes to Daniel Etter for trusting us with this special horse. We are deeply grateful for this opportunity.

New chapter for Castus

30.03.23 Thank you CASTUS for the past three years and all the victories and memories we collected together!!! You are a horse with a lovely charachter and an unbelievable big heart and we are more than happy that we will still be a part of your future.   From now on our student Jael Schätzle will be taking over the reins and we wish her much fun and the best of luck with her new partner (in crime ??).   A big thank you goes also to Jael's family and of course Castus's former owner Marc Buhofer for their trust!

CSI Oliva Nova 2023

28.02.23 Once again we started the new season in Oliva Nova, Spain. After a successful MET 1 in January with our 6 horses, the MET 2 in February was sadly cancelled after the second week due to an EHV outbreak. So we all landed in quarantine instead of jumping in the sun! We were reminded again that our sport is not only about the results, but also how happy and thankful we were to return home safely with all our horses fit and healthy.

Two weeks in San Giovanni with top results!

31.10.22 Castus 4th place in the 2* Grand Prix. Warrior jumped a great round in his first 3* Grand Prix and was placed in one of the 145 ranking classes. Queensway got four placings over 140cm (2./5./9./11.) First international show for Lamiro with four placings over 125/130. It was also the first international show for the 6yrs old youngster Lislan Diarado with top clear rounds and first placing on this level. Our 6yrs old mare Elfi jumped two weeks (8 rounds) clear, got 4 placings and was both weeks 3rd in the youngster final.

Back at the shows after injury in April

04.09.22 After a few months break due to Jason's shoulder injury, we are enormously grateful that he is back riding and competing.   During this time, we realised once again, what an incredible team we have around us! So let's say THANK YOU!   THANK YOU to our whole team at home which spared no effort to keep everything running and our horses fit and in shape! THANK YOU to our horse owners and sponsors for staying loyal and patient and giving Jason the time he needed to recover. THANK YOU to family and friends who were supporting us in every kind of way during this time.

Season start in Spain

01.02.22 This year we started off our season in Spain at the beautiful Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET) Oliva Nova. We enjoyed three fantastic weeks there with our horses and can't wait to come back again. Some results: Queensway: 2x 4th over 140 and 3 placings in 145 (3rd/5th/16th) Castus & Vola: Both placed in one of the 145 rankings and more good placings in 135/140 classes Cagno: Jumped two weeks double clear in the Silver GP over 140 with a 6th and a 8th place Warrior: 4 placings over 140 (2nd/6th/7th/8th) Chewy Louie: 11th place in the 7yrs Youngster Final Exquise: Good placings in 130/135 classes Elfi: Placings in her first 120 classes

Richard Vogel is the new rider of Checker III

Successful Sunday in Gorla Minore

12.09.21 Perfect last day at CSI2* Gorla Minore: 140: Warrior de Pleville Z 2nd 140: Exquise une Prince CDL 1st 145 GP: Heavenly Vola 12th 145 GP: Queensway Royal 6th

6th place for Queensway in the GP of CSI3* Verbier

22.08.21 After a 10th place in the 145 ranking on Thursday, Queensway jumped to a 6th place in the 155 3* GP in Verbier. Also Vola, Exquise and Warrior jumped great and got some nice placings in their classes during this beautiful show in the Swiss Alpes.

30.07.21 A few weeks ago the 14 years old Cheval Suisse mare Galaya von Hof left our stable to be ridden by Michelle Margadant, the daughter of Galayas owner family Gaby and Kurt Margadant. We are delighted that they have already formed a great partnership together and could celebrate their first success at CS Bättwil over 135 with a 2nd place for Galaya right behind her gelding Namur Z. Congratulations for this double win! Thank you to Gaby and Kurt Margadant for the good time we've had with Galaya over the past few years.

CSI2* San Giovanni

28.07.21 Back home from two weeks in beautiful San Giovanni. All five horses did a great job: Castus 4th place in one of the 145 ranking classes, Queensway placed in the GP and one ranking, Rivelina 2nd, 3rd and 7th over 135 and 140, Heavenly Vola some clear rounds and placed 8th in the 140 with jump off and our youngster Exquise une Prince was placed in 5 from 6 rounds and finished the show with a 1st place in the last class of the 7yr youngster tour.

Queensway Royal placed in 3* GP in Gorla Minore

23.05.21 With an unlucky fence down Jason and Queensway finished in 10th place in the 3* GP Gorla Minore. Already on Saturday they were clear and placed in the LR 150.

CSI2*/YH Gorla Minore - 2nd place for Galaya und Exquise

02.03.21 2nd place for Galaya in the 140 final on Sunday and also a 2nd place goes to Exquise in one of the 7yo youngster classes. Furthermore Queensway Royal jumped to a 6th place in the 140 class on Thursday. Due to the actual Herpes-Situation we will all have a show break until the end of March.

MET Oliva Nova (ESP) - First 3* Grand Prix Placement for Queensway Royal

31.01.21 Some impressions of our season start at the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour in Oliva Nova, Spain. It was a pleasure to get our horses ready for the upcoming Season 2021 at this beautiful and well organised show. Our personal Highlight of the three weeks in Spain was that Queensway Royal got his very first 3* Grand Prix Placement.

Season end 2020 - Castus 7th in the 2* Grand Prix

20.12.20 CSI2* Gorla Minore - Last day on the last show of season 2020, all horses clear and placed.  - Castus 7th in the 2* Grand Prix- Cagno 6th und Galaya 4th in 135 class- Exquise 3rd in the 6yo Youngster Final

Four weeks in Italy - CSI2* Gorla Minore & Ornago

07.12.20 From CSI2* Gorla Minore we drove with our eight horses for two more weeks to CSI2* Ornago. A beautiful new indoor show near Milan. Rivelina jumped in Gorla Minore and in Ornago every round clear, won one class over 135 and was placed in the top 12 in all the other five classes over 135 and 140. Castus was 4th in one of the 145 ranking classes in Ornago, the 6-year old Exquise une Prince was 3rd in the youngter final in Gorla Minore and 6th in Ornago. Also Cagno, Galaya, Warrior and Newberry did a great job and got some placings in the 130-140 classes. Queensway is already enjoying the start of his winterbreak after two weeks jumping in Gorla Minore. Sadly in all the Grand Prix the luck was not on our side. But we are happy and thankful that after four weeks of jumping we all arrived safe and healthy back home.

Queensway wins the 145 ranking class in Gorla Minore

16.11.20 Great weekend at the 2* show in Gorla Minore with a win in the 145 ranking class on Saturday with Queensway Royal. Also the 7-year old gelding Newberry Cleverleaf was showing his quality in the youngster tour taking 5th, 7th and 6th place. Galaya jumped to two 7th places over 135 and also Cagno went clear in the 135 class.

CSI2* San Giovanni (ITA)

25.10.20 Two weeks with good results at the beautiful 2* show in San Giovanni. Castus 3rd in one of the LR 145 classes, Queensway placed in one of the 140 and one of the LR 145 and also placed in the first weeks Grand Prix. Rivelina and Cagno jumped super nice rounds over 135 and 140 with a 3rd and 8th place for Rivelina and a 19th place for Cagno. We are really happy how these horses are progressing. Also our 6 year old mare Exquise showed her quality at her first international shows, jumping some nice clear rounds in the young horse classes.

CSI2* Gorla Minore - successful weekend in Italy

04.10.20 Our team for this show: Castus, Queensway, Rivelina, Warrior and Newberry Castus 2nd and Queensway 12th in one of the 145 ranking classes. Rivelina won a class over 135 and the 7yrs old Newberry and Warrior were four times placed in the youngster tour.

CSI3* Busto Arsizio - Castus and Queensway placed in ranking class

21.09.20 Castus, Queensway, Cagno, Newberry and Warrior did a great job last weekend at the 3* show in Busto Arsizio (ITA). Along with other good placings, Castus was 7th in Fridays 145/150 ranking class and Queensway 7th in Saturdays 145 ranking class.

Successful show in Olomouc (CZE)

01.09.20 After competing at CSIO Prag, we continued our tour in Czech to CSI2* Olomouc where our horses jumped to four top placings. Galaya was 3rd in a 130 class and won a 135. CSIO Prague - 6th place for Newberry in the Youngster-Final

22.08.20 The 7-years old gelding Newberry Cleverleaf jumped clear the whole youngster tour over three days and finished 6th in todays final.

Castus wins the 140 class in Roggwil

03.08.20 Last week was the first Summer Jumping Festival in Roggwil and we celebrated a win in the 140 class with Castus on Sunday. The reitsportarena and reitsport.ch team created a great and top organised show in this new location. We are looking forward to new events in the future.

First show after Covid-19 break

06.06.20 Galaya and Castus open the season restart after the Covid-19 break at etterevents in Müntschemier. Very happy with four nice rounds, a 2nd place for Galaya and a 13th place for Castus.
